WESTWARD HO HOTEL WORKSHOP 11/11/01

The Westward Ho Hotel Workshop was a big success with 54 people attending the event! There were 7 team members from the MVDGhostchasers on hand to answer questions on Spirit Photography. Several psychics attended the event and were able to untangle some of the mystery of the energies everyone felt in certain parts of the hotel!

There were many new faces among the guests and we were happy to see many returning faces at this workshop.

It seems the workshop group is forming a family like harmony and truly enjoys discovering new haunts together!

We were greeted by the historians of the Westward Ho Hotel and they split the group into two investigative teams. They took us to several rooms in the hotel that were big attractions in the early years.

The Concho room---the pool and garden area---the big Thunderbird Ballroom---the Kachina Lounge---the once ornate lobby----the staircase which Roy Rogers rode Trigger---the wooden doors of the 19th Hole Lounge---the Turquoise room and the Garden Deck on the 15th Floor.

We held a group session after the tour where refreshments were served by the MVD Ghostchaser team.

Everyone agreed the most activity was felt in the huge Thunderbird Room and on the 15th Floor.

The MVD Ghostchasers were able to raise $600 for the Westward Ho historian team who are developing a web site and have dreams of starting a small museum of old Westward Ho memorabilia in the future!

We also filled two grocery carts full of can goods for the residents pantry!

Early in September, when Debe and psychic Jackie did the initial investigation of the Westward Ho Hotel, they were granted permission to enter the basement. There are tunnels in the basement that connect the hotel with a parking lot across the street!
They heard a banging noise and Debe snapped this picture of some very active Ecto activity at one of the tunnels!

Most of these pictures were taken by the people who came to take the tour and workshop.

This is psychic Jackie. She worked at the Westward Ho as a waitress when she was a teen. Note all the orbs around her!

This was on the 15th Floor otherwise known as the Garden Deck. With the large windows around this floor, there was once lush plants everywhere. Many of the psychics picked up a brutal fight between 2 men in this area.

This was taken in the Thunderbird Room where balls, proms, weddings and other big events were held. Lots of energy left in the room
